Terms of Service for Polyguard

1. Introduction

Welcome to Polyguard! We provide tools that enhance the security and integrity of video communications by protecting against real-time deepfake attempts. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our services and applications.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Polyguard, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms applicable to certain programs in which you may elect to participate. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

3. Service Description

Polyguard provides:

• A virtual camera app that adds QR codes and hashes video frames to ensure video authenticity.
• A Zoom app that analyzes video data to detect discrepancies and protect against deepfakes.

4. User Accounts

To access some features of Polyguard, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities:

• Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution of the software.
• Interference with or disruption of the service or servers or networks connected to the service.
• Use of the service for any illegal purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the service and technology belong to us or our licensors. Except as expressly stated herein, these Terms do not grant you any rights to patents, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

8. Disclaimers

Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Polyguard expressly disclaims any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Polyguard, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days" notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
